Old Case Overheats, need a new one

I currently use a case equivalent to an Antec Lan-Boy, with a side intake added to the side. I brought the computer home from college, and I found it to lock up randomly. Turns out that since my room is a little hotter, my Antec PSU spazzes, the voltage rail drops, and the computer hard locks. After testing I have found it to be simply a heat problem.

I've looked at some potential new cases, and the Chenming Gaming Bomb (XPider?) looks like a viable choice. Anyone use this case? I'm trying to find something <$60. I also considered the EverCaseUSA Gamer case, but the lack of front intakes is keeping me weary, despite having a nice side intake.

It might be a good idea to consider a more costly case as an investment. You'll get the intakes that you need and therefore not have to worry about the problems you're having for some time to come. The same equation works for buying a good CPU as well, the better ones simply last longer and aren't prone to overheating.

Take alook at the Compucase LX 6A19, $39 . It has space for 2 - 120mm fans. It just like the Antec SLK3700AMB ..but w/ no fr. door.
Put a pair of Kingwin F012BB 120mm fans(79cfm/30db) in it and your set.

Regards,
Jose

whatever case you get, go for another aluminum one. if your aluminum lanboy already overheats, it'd be worse in a steel case.
