Not that anyone asked, but no decade can touch the 80's in terms of cartoon intro goodness, best examples..

I had kids who watched cartoons during most of those years and IMO, most of them sucked...BTW, by the time the Alvin & the Chipmunks series came out...they were already old cartoon stars...

But youse also forgot some of the best of those from the late 50's and 60's including: Huckleberry Hound, QuckDraw McGraw, (You alright Babalooey? S'aright!) Snagglepuss, (exit...stage left!) and many, many more that totally pwn anything made in later years.
