When it comes to waterboarding, you can't hold your breath, you can't take shallow breaths, you can't do shit but suffocate slowly.
Try this one at home, hold your breath, lay down flat with a towel over your head, pour a can of cold water over yourself, no matter how hard you try to the water will get into your nostrils and you'll have to breathe heavily which you can't because your mouth is covered with a wet cloth.
Is it torture? I'd rather be whipped.
Would you do it for a $1000 a second? I would. I would not want to get whipped for a $1000 a lashing though. I don't want the scars marring my beautiful hide. Therefore whipping is more severe than waterboarding. QED.
John's so tough he could be whipped while being waterboarded and still kill Taliban. He is the Chuck Norris of ATPN.
I could be that, if need be, i could also be shot, which has happened, does that make me tougher?
No, it just makes me less of a wimp than anyone who can't. You want to know tough, how about a 12 year old girl who stabbed her rapist three days later knowing fully well she would get killed as soon as she did it.
It might seem like revenge to some, but she didn't do it out of revenge, she did it to protect her sisters.
Being tough is about that, to protect others and to care enough to do what is right even when if you do so you put yourself in harms way.
Most people will never understand that because they have their ego and that is it.
