Olbermann comments on lies

Brings up some very valid questions that can't be answered by the white house. Where are the democrats that actually believe what the president accuses them of? I'd really like to know who they are.

I believe his constant spinning, twisting, and fabricating are a part of his personality; a character flaw perhaps. A classic example of "If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullsh*t.". I believe he developed his personality on the fear that he could not measure up to his peers. Having now surpassed the standard level defined by "The Peter Principle", it is now necessary to keep his party empowered for him to carry on in his position and claim competence at it. So, naturally, he employs the same methods he deemed successful for him personally to bolster the party.

So that democrat that fit the strawman in chief's description was ........

Not sure what you mean there.

I'm saying that Bush is doing what I have seen many others who question their value and place in the perceived pecking order do. When they realize that they (or, in this case, the party as well) cannot rise to the top on their own merits and abilities, the solution is to belittle those who might challange their position. To create a perception that, if the others appear to be less, then I will appear to be more. Since this is an obvious untruth, the only way to present it is with distortions and fabrications.

I am old enough to have seen this senerio many times, including the military, the workplace, and even in social groups.

I thought you were saying that about Keith. I have edited out my post.

Now that we know it's Bush that's the liar I can say that Olbermann is my god. I think he's absolutely fantastic. He's so real and right on that in my mind when he wads up and throws his notes at the camera it hits Bush in the smirky face.

I like Olbermann also. I do not agree with everything he says(but I do with most), I sure have to respect anyone who is not afraid to throw punches. He does not dance around subjects or criticism, he delivers them with a punch to the face.

Please provide links to any evidence that anything he said is spun, twisted, folded, spindled or mutilated in any way.

In any story about the Bushwhacko liars and thier lies, their first defense is always to challenge the truth that's been presented and the messenger who speaks it.

Yer doin' a fine job schmittsy.

'schmittsy' was referring to Bush in his post, not Olbermann 😀

This is an excellent description of a personality disorder that has been ingrained into his character through years of practice and validation from his cohorts.

I just wish he'd stop leaning on one elbow, looking into the camera with a twinkle in his eye, and silently saying, "I'm just joshin' y'all".

He wasn't talking about Olbie... no one cares if Olbie lies because Olbie's ratings are so low he doesn't have an impact. He does a good enough job of alienating his viewers without needing to lie. You have my permission to carry on with your love affair with Olbie though

I love how his ratings have anything to do with what he says. And just so you know, he beats O'lielly in the 24-50 something range (FOX touts this as the "Money demographic") all the time. Overall, his audience is about 80% of O'lielly's. But why should you care about facts?

Oops! Time for me to apologize for that one. 😱

jackschmittusa -- Peace offering ==>  😎

Wow, Bush and his supporters continue to go though life with their heads firmly planted up his ass. Nothing new, not sure how they fit so many heads up there but hey, enjoy the view sheep. Though I never watch cable news it is refreshing that Olbermann is on the tube so there is at some balance and someone to call out this POS president.

Sorry I did not make it clear that my post was about Bush. I guess I thought it was obvious to the most casual observer that it was an analysis of GWB. If that is the last mistake I make in my life, I am in good shape.

It's the segment that matters to every network, not just Fox News. I suppose it's the segment most likely to piss away money on crap they see advertised 😉

It was obvious to me, but I have read enough from the right to know they are easily confused.
