Oklahoma Frat Boys Caught Singing 'There Will Never Be A ****** In SAE'

The national headquarters for Sigma Alpha Epsilon is closing its chapter at the University of Oklahoma after video surfaced Sunday of members on a bus singing racist lyrics about their fraternity. SAE's national office called the video "inappropriate" and said it was "disgusted" by its members behavior.
"In addition, all of the members have been suspended, and those members who are responsible for the incident may have their membership privileges revoked permanently," the national SAE office said in its statement.

I remember a thread here last year where people tried to argue that Racism didn't really exist in this country any more. It stuck with me because I was dumbfounded that anyone could say that.

Look up the Shelby court case. Republicans used as part of their argument "racism is over"

Shelby was case where part of the Voting Rights Act was struck down by the SC.
 
Racism will always exist from both sides.
It will be used as an excuse and/or justification for actions.

When allowed, it becomes a bigger problem that should be dealt with immediately.
And when dealt with; there will be those that then cry racism because of whom is was dealt to and from.

Those boys need to take a lesson in how the KKK goes about their business of sharing their hatred for other races in a quiet and dignified manner...... if you can call it that. 😉

Man I'm glad that cell phone cameras weren't quite so ubiquitous during my fraternity days. And we confiscated all digital cameras at all events.

Well, the person being treated in a racist manner DOES have the attribute(s) which drew said racism!!

I love how even with this blaring example of racism we still are reminded that those being treated in a racist manner could totally be just faking it and 'baiting' the hard working people who are just telling it like it is.

I always hear racism is equal on both sides. I hold up a premise which has yet to be refuted...

Name one prominent Democrat in the last 10 years who has disparaged a prominent Republican solely on the basis of them being white. The internet is littered with the opposite.
 
Racism is over.

Blacks can vote, go to restaurants,not be forced into using drugs,can sit anywhere on the bus,etc..

We even have a black president with a Muslim sounding name that served 2 terms.

heh, where I went to school SAE was kicked out by the national group as well, and they actually "de Brotherized" like 80% of the members

I am not not racist. Just tired of hearing the same cop out.

You fuck up in school and decide not to study, no one hires you = racism
You smoke crack and you live under a bridge = racism
You go around being the thug, stealing shit and being the badass and now cop kills you = racism

And on and on.

Yet there are plenty of black people who did what anyone else would do, study work hard etc.. And they get a shot at the presidency.
 
The origin of racism is self hate which generates a need to put others down as the ones who are inferior, feeling that's the truth about oneself and not knowing it.

When racism is institutionalized for generations and virtually no black wealth is legally being passed on until essentially 50 years ago, it's not really difficult to understand why many contemporary blacks make poor decisions growing up in awful neighborhoods with crippling poverty considering heritage and estate are still the #1 determinant of future financial well being and decision making.
