Okay, Tom Leykis is great to listen to!

Since being in LA every so often, i've gotten to like listening to Tom on the radio. Does anyone else enjoy his radio show? Also, i was wondering if he is on in San Diego also?

I know tom is awesome. How about we drive around on friday looking for "Flash Friday". My friend chris suggested it today. I dont think he is on in SD but check out his site - google it.

He is entertaining.. loved his topics today.

edit: it sucks that they arent in Sacramento. They are in Fresno, they are opening new markets, so that's good atleast.

ehhh leykis is a coward. He always drowns out the callers. His voice is like 100 times louder than the caller, and you can barely hear the caller, so he just bashes on the caller, and the listenner can barely hear wtf the caller is saying. damn coward.


..now Stern he argues on even ground. The caller and Stern's voice volume lvl is the same, unlike the coward leykis...

... and Leykis interrupts the caller when he's losing the argument. He won't let the caller get their point out. Like stated above, he drowns them out. Yet he calls himself a "master debator".

Russ Martin is more entertaining. He'll piss off female callers and call them fat cows and stuff.

Hell yeah! I love Russ Martin (in a platonic way of course 😛) I wish I could find a way to get his show up here in Virginia. Used to listen to him every day back in Texas.

The Howard Stern I am familiar with since he was broadcasting on WWDC in Washington DC sure doesn't do that with any consistancy. It all depends on whether he thinks he can get good radio out of stringing the caller along. There are numerous times when he overrides the caller screaming "Get off my air" etc before hanging up on them.

I listen from time to time, but in general Tom Leykis seems really arrogant and witless, and he seems to aggressively use his producer to prevent any callers who dislike him from getting through, so pretty much all his callers come off as complete sycophants IMO. His phony laugh is also really annoying - he always sounds like he's pretending to laugh at the dumb things his callers say to be "shocking".

I am glad Leykis is no longer on in Detroit. Pretty worthless. He never gave anyone a chance to speak, and accused everyone else of not listening to what he had to say. maybe he's on late at night / early morning... but at least he's off the main hours.
