so today i decide i'm going to get off my lazy ass and buy the stamp i need to mail in my voter registration. 37 cents, jesus i remember when it was 29 cents. dum de dum... go and drop mail in outgoing mail slit.... open mailbox...what's this? it's from the secretary of state.... hmm... it's a "No postage necessary" voter registration form. apparently they send this to those who turn 18. doh! :| my birthday was 2 months ago! they couldn't have mailed this a little sooner? i mean it's nice that they did and all, but goddammit, i wasted 37 cents :|

what? they have andy warhol stamps now? no, i got the american flag one... i was too lazy to wait in line, so i just popped my money in the little machine.

I used them for some recent mailings and had a response rate of like 4% for the Warhols stamps vs. ~35% for the Year of the Horse. Not enough evidence but it suggests they are scary ;)

Good job.

Instead of spending the 37 cents, I stopped off at the registration office and filled out the form. The place was next to the bank, so it wasnt TOO out of the way.

I'm no longer part of the problem. I'm a registered democrat. :p
