Didn't have time to read thru this whole thread... I don't know if you've ordered this stuff yet. But are you sure you don't want a black floppy? I have a practically new (used for a few days) black Mitsumi I could sell you for say $13 shipped.

Should I go elsewhere and get the 8rda+ (which they had for 104$!) or should I stay with them and get a totally different motherboard?

The choice is yours anadtechers, because I trust you guys more than the editors of anandtech themselves 🙂
