The ASVAB was really easy for me... too easy perhaps!

I kept getting calls from the Navy for months after taking it telling me that I was qualified for their nuclear technician program :Q

I was in the top 1% on the ASVAB and had my pick of any job in the military I wanted.
Then they found out I was color blind...

Everything but MATH portion was straining.

And I hear that math largely determines whether you're qualified for elite military positions.

a drywall saw, of course! actually, you could even use a retractable blade as well.

<- 99% percentile on the ASVAB

9/8 = 1 1/8

3 1/4- 2 1/8 simplified = 3 2/8 - 2 8/8 - borrow from the three and 8/8 to 2/8, which equals 2 - 2 and 10/8 - 8/8 = 2/8...?

omfg.

No, I have no intention of joining the military. Just felt like taking the test to see how well I would score (everyone here said they did pretty well, and most people on pn are stupid....so....).

I feel so cheated.

How's that rash on your penis coming along?

On your mother of course.

duh.

So you fail third grade math... then you fail at insults (twice)... you fail at spelling and context... and you fail at penis management. Yer doing a heckuva job there noobie! You'll go far in this world.

A little mean, eh? Perhaps you forgot this:

Anyways, can anyone link me to some general math resources? I've tried webmath but it wasn't that helpful.

For the record, I'm more capable and agile in spelling and mechanics than you will ever be.
Whatever grammatical error you manage to find is out of apathy, not idiocy.
SO I would really appreciate if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong in the problem.

Ditching the whole numbers, you have 1/4 - 1/8. CD is obviously 8, but I honestly forgot how to convert....ugh.

Jesus then they asked me to convert Celsius into Fahrenheit and I totally forgot that formula. I feel like a retard. If I was a retard, at least I'd have an excuse.

After reading a few of your posts I'd like to make some judgments about you since you clearly think very highly of yourself.
1. You're young and not exceptionally intelligent (though by your posts you think otherwise; just remember to always reference that above conversion whenever you're in doubt of the truth of this statement)
2. You take your liberties for granted. Admittedly, most people do, so I appreciate your candor.
3. You try to mask your shortcomings by insulting others. Please realize that this is a common practice, so try not to use this as vindication for the item referenced as 1.

That is all.

Thanks for the lesson. I'll be sure to judge others intellect by their int@rweb history, and of course, their mathematical shortcomings. After all, math is the ultimate measure of intelligence. Screw all those artsy b@stards with their movies and paintings and what not.

Math is where it's at, yo. Ya ain't cool, unless you pee your math (those who are "exceptionally intelligent" will know the reference.)

Also, insulting a teenager who is emotionally struggling is the epitome of maturity. I hope you're proud of yourself. Way to go.

Oh, sorry about that sexing your mom thing. I know being forced to watch an "exceptionally" hung minor ravaging the woman that brought you into the world can be quite psychologically damaging. I apologize.

I think I left out a f**k you in there. So, without regret; f**k you. Please choke on a d**k.
That is all.

edit: If you want intelligence, psychologist determines my I.Q to be around ~140. I find the entire game to be completely and utter bulls**t. Tests rely too much on patterns and mathematic processes, whereas some people just aren't skilled in math - but still equally intelligent to those who are.

I don't think I'm the smart, especially considering my pre-frontal cortex hasn't even begun to develop :)D), but at I also don't think of myself as a dolt.

I took one of the 40 question practice exams a couple of weeks ago.... and got 100%...

What does that mean?

It means you are smarter than me, according abracadabra1 at least.

Are you seriously bragging about your e-penis?

I should also point out that you've directed your wrath at the wrong person. I shall now add reading comprehension to your 'fail' list.

took the asvab before i joined, got a 69. not bad for someone, who on a whim, decided to take it. its really not in the total of your asvab score, its what you got for the GT score. if you get over 110, your pretty much good for 90% of all the jobs in any military service. if you get over like, 120-125....well then you get the really nice jobs.
