i test drove one....
though it was really nice.....
didnt like that it didnt have a rearview mirror that tinted...was basically the cheapest rearview mirror i ever saw...although its just a mirror i felt for the money is shouldnt look so cheap. Also i dont like it without the dvd navigations sys. it just looks so much better with the dvd nav. other than that i almost bought it but i went totaly in the opposite direction and bought a chevy silverado

It seems most folks on the Dodge forums are modding their mirrors, rather than get the option.

why had you stopped posting?

this place was taking over my life.

I have an annual tax thread.
I met my lawyer on here.
He's probably better than who you'd have got searching the yellow pages.
I get my car advice on here.
Better advice than reading magazines with their less than real world POV.
I get my breaking news from this place.
Quicker than CNN can update their website.
hell, I was letting ATOT decide what movie I should watch.
So....better us than Ebert and Roper.
I had to take a break.
Sounds like you should double your dosage!!

IMHO  the Charger is a 4 door sedan that Dodge slapped the Charger name on, without considering whether it really stayed true to the name. Like the Mustang 2's back in the 70's.

Hold off another year, and get the new Challenger that's supposedly going to come out in 2007 model year. Saw a pic of it last night, along with this article, and it looks sweet! 😀

I love the fact that the muscle cars that ruled the road when I was a kid are inspiring the engineers today, to make retro style models!

...you forgot something:

Holy Crap $2,100 Gas Guzzler Tax on the SRT-8....NOT SWEET!!!

How about the Grand Cherokee SRT12 or whatever the SRT designation is?

It is FASTER than the Magnum/300/Charger with the hemi because it hooks up thanks to all wheel drive.

I rented the 3.5L one when my Protege was in the shop. I'm in love with the thing. Sure, it's RWD, but there is barely any slippage, even during wet weather. It's an absolutely beautiful car, a total head-turner on the street. And the SOUND! I guess I'm like Clarkson, I love the sound of a nice, big motor. I loved it, and I want one.

They are available with AWD if the RWD is too scary 😉

I loathe a vehicle that you have to flip down the second row seat to get to the 3rd row.

The new van/SUV hybrids (not in the engine sense), like the Relay, Mazda5, Uplander, Freestyle all have the option of no center console in the second row. This allows the kids to walk back to the 3rd row. I can't understand why they don't incorporate that option in SUVs.

edit: oops, just realized the Cherokee is a 5 seater, I must have been thinking about the Commander.

BTW, I've had two high-top conversion vans in the past and generally liked them. Problem is the wife doesn't.

How about a pimped out '68 VW Wagon with a low rider kit? Paint it pearlescent purple with a 3' Virgin Of Guadalupe painted on the back. She can't not like that.

When I drove it it felt like a grandpa car. It felt big and heavy and the tires sucked. Very comfortable though. I would like it for a long distance cruiser.

It's a squareback, not a wagon, and up until the Virgin of Guadalupe, sounded pretty sweet 😛

its so very uncool compared to the mustang

Why are you comparing it to a mustang? Its meant to be compared to other 4 door family cars and in that area its pretty badass.

not really because then it looks like its trying way too hard

I'd get it!
But the V6 cause they say it goes pretty good and is a lot better on gas but I'm paying all those CDN taxes on gas too though 😉

Well, I am 36 and have a 12 year old son. I could have a grandkid in 6 or so years.
