Really itchin' for the Dodge Charger with the Hemi. Four door look doesn't bother me because I have 4 kids and it would fit all of them.

anyone have any impressions of it?

Will be trading in my Mazda6i. Love it, but want something a bit different.

Man I'd never buy one of those just to avoid idiots shouting, "Hey that think got a Hem-Eh??!" every time you leave the house.

lol, never thought of that.

They are stupidly fast, though 😀

EDIT: I suggest not getting the Daytona package. The flat black paint isn't worth $2,000.

5 speed auto w/ stick option.. eh, but better than only auto at least 🙂

edit: the SRT8 charger looks absolutely badass in silver

DO IT, go for the SRT-8

I'm thinking for of the R/T without the Daytona crap added.

Yes, please get the R/T version...at least I would have a chance when we street race 😉. I've heard of some stock SRT-8 runs in the high 12's.

The stock R/T runs 14 sec quarter miles. Not too bad for a 2 ton sedan.

its so very uncool compared to the mustang

Why are you comparing it to a mustang? Its meant to be compared to other 4 door family cars and in that area its pretty badass.

why had you stopped posting?

this place was taking over my life.

I have an annual tax thread.
I met my lawyer on here.
I get my car advice on here.
I get my breaking news from this place.
hell, I was letting ATOT decide what movie I should watch.

I had to take a break.

would agree. I'm not getting it to race. The R/T has the options I want and it's bigger than my Mazda. Plus, believe it or not the hemi only gets 1 to 2 miles less a gallon than the V6 SE model.

Its ugly?

Agreed. I have never really thought about how ugly it is because it has such a great engine...but the other day my girlfriend saw one at an intersection and she just gave me this face like "that thing is ugly". My response was, "it has a great engine". Afterward I was thinking how easily I forgive looks for quality engineering...but girls never do that...and she was right...it is ugly.
