Haha, you're fvcked. My best friend was married to a lawyer for 6 or so years. She worked all hours of the night and they ended up divorced 6 months after their first and only child was born.

Guess what though...he married another lawyer.

This one is at least friendly and works normal hours though.

Good luck with yours though. HAHA!!

Yes, she's female. :)
No pics.
Drives a 911 :D (red) :(

We were introduced by a mutal friend a few weeks ago. Nothing too serious yet, but the potential exists. :)

how old is she and how old are you?
We are both 26.
Hmm... most lawyers are still paying off their debts at 26. My friend is in this situation - 26 - and she's dead broke at this point, but she has a job locked up.

Maybe your friend has a trust fund too. ;) Does she also live in the city ?
Yes, she lives in the city, I live in Jersey. No trust fund that I know of. I haven't really discussed her finances with her. :)
I think most 26 year old lawyers make less than me, because they're still putting in their time. She must be a trust funder or be in the very top tiers and got out of school making a ton of money to afford a 911, if it's a new one :) I say marry her.

hmm my bro is 22 now, and next year does his training contract for 2 years then he is fully qualified at 24 3/4. he will be on 55-60k for the training contract and over 100k thereafter.
It doesn't matter how much he'll be making. It's how much debt he's in right after school... unless he got his tuition paid by others.

As a lawyer? Was he on some sort of special program? I have two brothers that are both lawyers and I've never heard of such a thing. Isn't it undergrad then 3 years of law school. If so, how'd he get it done at 22? Kudos to him then cause believe me, his situation is the exception and not the rule.

its not hick and co, its weil gotshall manges.

we are from the uk, we dont have a capitalist education system, so his debt is less than his first years pay, and he was given a grant from the firm for the 1 year law school course.
