Okay, I just saw the dumbest commercial ever...

JulesMaximus

No Lifer
They drove two tractors into a SCrew, one from the front and the other from the rear at low speed, crumpled the truck a bit and then proclaimed that it was one of the safest trucks on the road...

Do they think we're all a bunch of idiots?

They were trying to prove the occupants wouldn't be hurt in that event. I'm assuming that they couldn't go forward anymore because of the strength of the truck, personally I doubt that. Until I see the traction slipping on those tractors, I'm not believing anything.

Driving a tractor into a truck at low speed and driving the truck into a barrier at 40mph are not at all the same though. They aren't even remotely similar.

you miss the fine print where they say it's a dramatization and how the body was digitally altered? not only do they think we're idiots, they're hoping we're BLIND!

How about the F-150 commercial with Tobe Keith throwing down chassis frame rail cross sections of Chevy, Ford and Dodge pickups?

I like how the actors playing Ford engineers are wearing lab coats. What the hell are the lab coats supposed to be doing for them? Protecting them from stray pencil marks?

i still don't see how this qualifies as "the worst commercial ever". i'm not even sure it qualifies as worse than most. i think most of us could easily name 10 to 15 commercials each we thought were worse than this one.

i know i could.

Haha.. I saw that tractor commercial last night and was thinking the same thing. Um, so did the tractors just stop? Are we really supposed to believe they coulnd't smash the thing?

Pulllease
