We console ourselves with Godiva 🙂

You mean little orange ball type thingies covered in chocolate? Me and a couple other people went through like 3 boxes of em just for the toys inside. Then, after a whole 2 minutes of playing with the toys, we just threw the balls at each other.

We were sick of the choclate for days after.

Please. Something edible...marketed to kids....with a small solid object inside? The lawsuits would be second only to the tobacco debacle. You may recall we Americans are kinda lawsuit-happy (think McDonalds and coffee😉)

Add a nine-month winter to that list while you're at it.😉

We are quite on the same page. The childproofing of American society.

EAKERS: I already told you! Ferrero does NOT sell Kinder Eggs in the US. This is a very painful subject to me...how dare you bring it up in two separate threads?!

Nestle sold something similar in the US a few years back. A couple of kids did choke on the pieces, and the product was very quickly pulled from the market. It's back, sort of, now it has little candies inside instead of the plastic toys.

Can't really say you can buy em from the US. I don't even know where the boxes came from. I remember one box was out, and then everyone was amazed with the concept, and then suddenly there were more boxes. For weeks after, unsuspecting visitors would be met with a barrage of chocolate balls.

I had them when I went to Montreal, they truly kick ass 🙂 I still have the toys too. And no, we don't have them here 🙁

Why do you think I moved to Atlanta (from Midland) 13 years ago? Our summer really suck, but they're only 3 months of the year. I don't miss months of unceasing cold grey weather at all, believe me.
