Okai Microline 320 turbo (dot matrix) problem-- help!

[GP200K]

here's my situation:

The Printer is printing but it prints one line of type on top of the other making lettering unledgable

does anyone have any suggestions.

First off make sure you are lining the paper up correctly. Next, I would try cleaning the printer. If that doesn't work, I would suspect the ribbon or the print head. Oh BTW get a laser jet, they will save you the headaches..

Sounds more like the tractor OR friction paper feed isn't working correctly.
Like DaiShan said, a good cleaning might fix it. But it could be a stripped gear.

It could also be a software problem. Try printing from another program and see if the paper advances.
Also try the printer on a different computer.
