McClane is more of a badass since he can take down international terrorists by himself. Riggs, although a badass, only takes down domestic (or living domestically) criminals and doesn't fire auto rifles all the time

McClane rarely uses a partner on the field, except for L. Jackson, but he's a badass himself too.
Partnering w/ Jackson = automatic badassery of combinations, whicm makes McClane the winnar.

Nah. Bauer would be about 30 yards away ready to fire a round into Chuck, but in the next frame Chuck would be kicking the gun out of his hand and then roundhouse kicking Bauer in the face.
