sitting here waiting on the mailman and Fed EX and I am sooo bored !! Anybody else doing the TGIF boredom count down ?
 
oh yes. i'm at work and i don't feel like doing a damn thing. i have data entry to do, print outs to go through and i have to organize last months invoices by date and cost code. blah!
 
Me.....I'm building a server and I'm just twiddling my thumbs while everything copies.....nice way to wind down a week though......the rest of the week was crazy...
 
I have been off of work all week, my wife had to work, and being at home gets old after a while.......

so, yes, I am a little bored......
 
Boredom is rampant here in Oregon too.

I don't even remember the last time I worked a full 40 hour week, if I don't get sent home early today this will be a full 40 hour week. :Q I don't quite know how to handle being stuck at work so long.

That'd be me. It's absolutely gorgeous here in Atlanta today and it appears the majority of CDC employees have decided to take a hike. I'm thinking of doing the same one I freeze down some cell lines I've been working with all week. mmmm.....bacteria.😉

Nah, nothing very exotic. Just some drug-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae strains....nothing to worry about unless you have an affinity for hookers in southeast asia.:Q

So I take it you won't be applying for an IT position here at the CDC any time soon? Not only would you be touching someone else's keyboard, but they have likely been touching all kinds of nasty bugs.

Hehe...you kinda get desensitized to these things when you're a bio-geek. I always chuckle when a friend or family gets to see my lab and looks at the petrie dishes with gono on them as though they're going to jump off the bench and infect them. No airborne STD's that I know of, thank god.😉

What, are you in wisconsin? One moment it'll be snowing and the next it'll be sunny and the following will be cold and gray. The weather here has been truely schizophrenic the past couple of weeks.
 
Not sure which is better.. boredom or what I'm doing.. building a new exchange server (insert flames here).. 😉

It's been the same minus the snow here in Arkansas... the other day it was frickin 78 outside and the last couple of nights we have been under a freeze warning.... :frown:

Soooo very bored. Just got back from an hour long meeting where I didn't even say a word and now I am listening to Disturbed at full volume just to keep from sleeping. I also bout Jedi Knight 2 last night and only got to play for an hour so I am really itching to go home.
