OK who the f@#$@ buys crap from informercials

halik

Lifer
Who are these people that buy all this useless shit? Blanket with sleeves (SO RETARDED IT MAKES MY HEAD HURT!!), pet stairs, unnecessary push up work out junk etc. etc.

Seriously... who buys random made-in-china garbage on an impulse, because the tv tells them so??

I was watching the house marathon on USA 26Dec and they would alternate between two ab crunch commercials. Every commercial break one or both would be on. Absolutely drove me nuts. I dont know who buys these things but they need to be brought out back and beaten with a hose.

he was actually on the sidelines during the Wisconsin FSU bowl game and ABC/ESPN had him "pitch" the upcoming bowls. It was actually pretty funny

Not everything on infomercials is garbage and/or overpriced. There's the dog-shedding tools that are commonly sold in Wal-Mart, Petco, PetSmart, etc. They started as infomercial items. They aren't too expensive and they work very well. They're much better than the traditional wire brush for breeds that have a heavy undercoat or that blow their coat multiple times per year.

Step 1: Grab a robe
Step 2: Put robe on backwards
Step 3: Profit

Not the same by a longshot. These are very lose, and they cover your feet.

Plus you look like a monk when you're wearing them----how cool is that?

my mother in law constantly buys this crap, then asks me how it works. I don't even watch TV! WTF am i supposed to figure it out- she just watched a 30 minute show on the damn rockin chopper!

luckily my wife doesn't subscribe to the same crap

Anyone seen the Shamwow guy's newest commercial? Slice and Dice or some shit.... "Making the world thinner one chop at a time".

That guy makes me want to hire a midget for the sole purpose of punching me in the nuts everytime I see his droopy face.

Billy Mayes is great though 🙂

Anyone else notice that the Bender Ball looks suprisingly like the little rubber balls you can pick up for 2 bucks at Wal Mart?

EXACTLY! Every single piece of crap advertised on an infomercial can be bought locally. There's NO REASON to order anything from a 30 second TV spot, thus eliminating the need for said TV spots and keeping my blood pressure level.
