The best car that I've actually driven (not ridden in, but driven) would have to be my first car. '99 Mitsubishi Eclipse one of the last ones from the factory brand-new in '99. I loved that car...

I suppose best in the sense of "most expensive when brand new" was my old '98 Toyota Avalon XLS.

Our dragster I have driven. We since sold it and are building a new one and the new one is going to be freakin sweet and I will get to drive it also and possibly race it.

I have only driven 6 cars in my life (not including my dad's 18 wheelers or forklifts).

Rented Dodge MiniVan (Before I got my permit in Florida. My Grandfather wanted me to drive with him in his apartment complex, so we drove)
Grandfather's Acura 3.5
Driver's Ed Ford Taurus
Mom's Yukon XL Denali
Mercury Marauder (My car)
Chevy Silverado SS (Dad's car).

The two I like most are mine and my dad's, followed by my moms and grandfathers. The MiniVan was a horrible excuse for a motor vehicle.

After a little more thinking, I have to add the following cars to the list: '95 Caddylag (if you're from the South you know what I'm talking about), '00 BMW Z3, '98 Audi A6 3.0
I've ridden in a few nice cars as well: too many Audis and Porsches to count (my father used to work for both companies so we'd get a new car every week), as well as a Lamborghini Diablo circa 1995 :D

Depends on your definition of "best" I guess. My favorite was MY car, in it's pre-stolen-and-stripped state.

HELL YEAH!!! That must have been quick as hell.

For me- 2001 VW Jetta w/ Stage III Turbo.

It was, my friend's shop did it. I'm not into VWs myself but apparently this guy's car is semi-famous around VW circles. It's grey, has an MKIII dash swapped into it, VR6, turbo, and shaved door handles.

Awesome little car.

Ehhh.... 96 Volvo 850 GLT? Hehe, it's a station wagon but it's pretty nice especially for the age. Hopefully our Lexus ES330 2004 soon... other than that, I have to get my license in about a month still :p

most expensive car I ever drove?

A 94 LS400 and a 99 GS300 (well two GS300s of that year).

The best car I ever drove overall? My family's old 95 240SX. <altho that LS400 comes close>

Second best car? A 86 CRX. Laugh all you want, sure it may have more rust than actual metal and sure u could see the road thru the floorboards, but damn it was fun.
