ok...what is the deal with the rc5 stats server now?

It's because I made a 80k dump yesterday and I wanted to see my stats this morning. (j/k) :|

.. but if you do find out, I'd like to know too!

I looked at the .plan files and there is an entry from Decible that says they are having problems with a query in the Database that is running very slow. Seems they need to fine tune their Select statements since they redid the tables in the Database.

Well I just boosted by ketrate from about 12Mkeys/sec to 20Mkeys/sec .......I just have to see the stats say that I completed 6xxx blocks...

If dnet had to pay everyone a dollar everytime the stats server was down......hmmm

I think it's time for them to increase the key size to ^34 or higher. With all these 1Gig + processors out there now, I would think that by increasing hte block size, it would help reduce network traffic and possibly help with stats.

Dnet computes all of its stats with WU's in 2^28 form, so increasing the blocksize wouldn't really have an effect.😱

SURE WISH I HAD 5 SECONDS TO PEEK AT MY STATS!!

Man, they said periodically they would enable web access, but then take it down when they needed to re-run the tables again. Ah, I wonder what 'period' of time that meant? :| :|

Got to have my stats fix!!! 😀
