Looked around a bit for some comparison between the X2 and the Conroe on everyday things, PS scores, all the stuff that really means something..

I kinda think I know what he means. I think he wants a review that shows everything from fps in games, to photoshop, to multitasking scenerios. Stuff that goes past all the synthetic 3dmark, pcmark, sandra, and the battery of synthetic cpu measurements.

exactly.. the kind of stuff like the PS picture benchmark posted on here recently.. Just really interested in knowing what going from an x2 4400+ to an e6400/6600 is going to get me in the real world.

Most all benchmarks are more than just syntehtic marks. Most have game FPS benchmarks, Audio encoding, Video Encoding, File compression benchmarks...
