When I worked for Intel, we had a billion acronyms and we always had go make sure our acronyms did not conflict with the acronyms from other departments. If you worked for a company like that, you would get what he means. It made me laugh.
The acronyms themselves don't stand for anything in particular.
I worked for IBM and I bet we had more acronyms than anyone, but the same one could mean two completely different things to different divisions.
