1: Deleting my account on my Computer GF says I spend to much time on computer. Not enough time for her point things
2: Seti slows down my system just enough that it messes with my GF's internet point things so she claims.
3: Mad at a MOD they locked one of my help threads it was quasi Hardware / Software question.
 
Sorry I can't help with your GF, but if you notice slowdowns with Seti it could also be that you need a little more ram, or the priority was set a little high. The locked thread may have been a mistake, it's possible the mod thought your question was answered by the reply.

true on the GF I have 512 meg of PC2100 ddr ram Crucial
With a Athlon 1.4 gig cpu. It should not be slow but her account is? Have Win2K and multiiple accounts one for me, her and adm. Using the CLI version.
I have SETI run on all accounts
 
Carrot - Just an idea.

Why not remove the SETI client from your girlfriends account only? That way she can have lag-free use of the machine and you can still crack for the Team! 🙂

I may be missreading this, but with a kick @$$ machine like that I don't think SETI should be slowing down anything on the internet.

I hope you stick around no matter how much or how little you crunch.

Decide to boot me out.
But while messing around today I noticed for some reason several copies of seti running....... And I for one never reboot so we will see what happens 😀
 
Yay!! Make sure it is running on Low priority as well! If worst comes to worst remove it from her account. 1WU a week is better than none😀
 
And, after setting the priority, make sure to press "Save Config" so that it won't revert back later. 🙂
