ok to unplug LCD while computer still on?

this may seem like a trivial question but is it ok to unplug my LCD (if it's off) while the computer is still on?

Are you talking about power or video? I can't imagine why either would be a problem.

I still unplug monitors that are on and connect them to other computers I am working on that are also powered up.

Never had a problem...Having the monitor turned off should cause no problems what so ever...Even if the computer is turned on.
