Ok to put 8x AGP card in 4x AGP MB?

I have a FIC AD11 MB that has (2x/4x AGP), as listed on MB web site. I was wondering if an 8x AGP card will even work in it? Or should I get a 4x card?

Also, can someone show me the cheapest GeForce 4 TI you can possibly find? Unless you can recommend a different card for about $50 or so. Thanks!

Yes, the video card will work with your motherboard. However it will be performing at 4X AGP. The performance difference between 8X and 4X AGP is very small anyway, so don't let that affect your decision.
