Ok to mix ram?

I have Kingston ram right now.. and I found a good deal on Crucial ram. Is it ok to mix them together?

As long as you run them at the same speed and timings (that being the settings of the slowest module) you will be alright. NO OVERCLOCKING.

I OC'ed different ram back in the day, mixed micron and infineon, PC133@150. But I definitely wouldn't have any expectations as far as that is concerned.

You can get away with mixing RAM, but I personally wouldn't recommend it.

Just my opinion.

Yeah, I've mixed RAM in the past.

Just make sure you run your timings at the speed of the SLOWER stick and you'll be A-OK.

As long as the system boots, you're fine.

If the system won't boot, then you've got one of those mobos that is a bit fussy.
