Edit: he said "Foster one half slugs" for that instance. I know nothing about slugs but someone will surely know what that means. Half-inch maybe?

she was shooting 2.75" target loads. Note the short metal part of the shell casing. Still plenty of recoil but nothing like a 3.5".

at least in some of the shots she is loading low brass shells which are less powerful than high brass shells

Plus the longer barrel helps. I can shoot 3.5" slugs out of my 18.5" barrel, but it's an experience, and I can't say that my follow up is very fast.
