Click on the "A Song to the Siren" link

I just heard this for the first time last night, now I want to buy his CD. It's sooo sad sounding (I'm a sucker for those minor chords). When I played it for the wife she got instantly in a "Ohh..I love you, let's do it" mood, which now makes it my favorite song! :D

??? It played in a media player window for me? Maybe I already have something installed.

Tim Buckley owns.

Plant is paying homage to Buckley in this one. Buckley was one of Plant's influences so he does a very heartfelt job.

I picked up Robert Plant's "Sixty Six to Timbuktu" CD compilation. Glad I did...it's got some great "B-Side" stuff on it...including this song.

I'm a Buckley fan, but that song was hard to listen to at times, I think I need to know the lyrics better. The small guitar solo sounded sweet, really eased into the last part of the song, which I could tell was sad.

What's the big deal?

Meh++

EDIT: Maybe it's just because the guy couldn't sing to save his life. Music sounds interesting, he just has no sense of pitch.
