I think it takes a huge stretch of the imagination to believe that driver's licenses for West Virginia could be the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast isn't even supposed to occur until the tribulation, and only issued to people on the forehead or hand. I understand where these Christians(?) are coming from but they need to relax because these state IDs in no way mark you as having allegiance with an antichrist figure. A state ID is not fulfilling the Biblical prophecy. Similar maybe, but not with the same implications. There's no Biblical basis to oppose digital barcodes or chips in general. Now if the world were subjugated under some diabolical religious figure who wants to brand everyone they would have reason to sweat, but a simple state ID system doesn't qualify.

I'm guessing these people lack much Biblical education.

so how is an ID card the same as a mark on your hand or head? i also didn't know not having a driver's license prevented you from buying or selling anything or even working. I had a part time job before I even had my driver's license.
