Toyota needs to buy GM altogether and destroy the UAW with a hammering vengence.
DOWN WITH GM!!! DOWN WITH GM!!! DOWN WITH GM!!!
You are a fvcking moron, you know that?
Do you have ANY idea how many GM vehicles are on the road today?
If GM collapsed it would leave MILLIONS of people without parts or service available for thier cars. Not to mention putting many thousands of people out of work.
I hope someone drives a Toyota up your ass. :|
Not really.
Parts can still be made, just as they are now.
The dies don't melt down in shame because the company tanks.
Aftermarket suppliers would still be here.
The thing is that some of those companies rely on GM for good portions of thier income.
GM goes under they have much less income, they in turn go under, massive parts shortages ensue.
So someone else buys them and continues making the parts.
It's happened a few times before, you know?
Nono, you don't understand him. Once GM is gone, every single supplier will cease operations as well. Millions will lose their jobs, millions will starve; and thus, the US economy plunges into the dark ages!!!
There's no such thing as another company taking over, because CrackRabbit failed 9th grade economics.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! What a motard.
Fvck off asswipe...
I did not fail economics, and you don't realise how massive GM is.
Do you know what happens when a company goes bankrupt and another company takes over? Their suppliers and mechanics do not cease to exist, they merely are employed by another company now. Some may lose their jobs, but for the most part, there is no catatrophic disaster where "MILLIONS of people" lose their jobs.
HAHAHAHAHA ROFL......EMOTIONAL MOTARD.....HIT THE BOOKS, KID!
Yes but who would take over GM? HMMMM?
We both know that they have massive debt, massive heathcare costs, and an unmanagable union situation.
If you were another auto maker or investment firm would you want to take over that type of liability?
Didn't think so, so what happens if GM completly collapses?
You end up with your core GM employees out of jobs and a ripple effect throughout thier supply chain.
Sure there will be suplliers that can shift thier businesses or have enough business with other makers to keep on going.
But what about the ones that can't or have so much business tied up with GM that they can't shift rapidly enough to make parts for someone else? They collapse also, putting more people out of a job.
Call me a Motard if you want, but the situation would be quite dire if GM collapsed.
