Ok, so when I get all the pieces for my computer, what next?

This will be the first time I've built my own system. All the pieces should arrive within the next few days, but I'm a bit confused about the proper order of installing components, setting jumpers, and flashing the bios, etc.

For example, will I need to download the newest VIA 4in1 drivers, and how do I install them? Do I need to flash the bios at all, and how do I do that? Will the mb (MSI K7 Master - 6341) require any jumper or bios tweakings to work with the 1.33 AMD chip?

Here is the system I'll be building:

Chip: AMD 1.33 GHz 266 FSB
Motherboard: MSI K7 Master
Memory: 256 Meg 2100 DDR CAS 2.5
Case: Fong Kai FK-320 (300 watt power supply)
HeatsinkFan: Coolermaster EP5-6i11
DVD: Toshiba 16x
Soundcard: Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
VideoCard: Leadtek GeForce 3
HardDrive: 60 Gig IBM Deskstar 60GXP
OS: MS Windows 98SE
Keyboard: Using old Dell Keyboard
Mouse: Old MS mouse (with wheel)
Monitor: Old Dell 19" Monitor
Speakers: Old ACS495 speakers and subwoofer
Floppy: generic from local store
NIC: 10/100 ethernet from local store

Thanks, any info is appreciated!

that's good link from bacillus. I wouldn't even think about flashing BIOS till you get a handle on your system. The new 4in1 drivers are great, but you'll need to get the one's that came with your board in place, or burn new ones to disk/zip/floppy. Any way good luck and if you need help we are here 😉
