OK, so my computer displays an img frommy graphix card...

all te way through post. howecer oncewindows loads, the image goes bybye. i still have a signal, as my monitoris green and not blinking. but no image. any suggestions??(i posted is here becayse, it could be software, hardware, or anything. also, dont rag on my typing as this is a laptop keyboard and im not used to them.

new info. when i bootinto saffemode, windows log's on andi can see my desktop, etc. however i cannot get it to do that in normal mode, it just goes black. any ideas??/

reinstall gfx drivers?

reload the video driver. are you running a CRT or an LCD ?

uninstall all the video drivers, and redownload the latest one and install em.

that should fix it.
I had similar problem with my LCD. Did exactly that and the problem went away.

remove the drivers with driver cleaner if the reinstall still doesn't work

so here is what i have discovered, if i uninstall my ti4200 (through my computer, not take it out) and then boot into windows normal. i get an image until windows discovers my ti 4200 and installs its drivers for it. at that oint my screen goes blank.

Windows has bad drivers for it in the cache. Download new ones.

Do not let Windows XP auto-install the drivers for it then. Cancel and install your own drivers.

no. when its refresh rate issues it displays the little bouncing out of range, and i know this monitor can go up to like 140hz LOL

ok so driver cleaner worked and im under normal windows, however, my monitor will not be recognized. i cannot get out of 1024x768 resolution to 1280x960 w/ 32bit color.

ok, now im confused. no matter what, whenever i enable the graphics card, it decides to go black. i installed 53.03 when in normal mod, and when the installation was complete, it went black. im thinking im gunna have to reformat, but i really dont want to. as i have SOOOOO much stuff on here. any other reccomendations??

don't format to install a new copy of windows. i never do. lose too much crap. you can just delete the old windows directory anyway
