You can stick with your stories/experiences, I will stick with mine. 🙂 As for the machines, they were a 3.2GHz p4 vs an AMD64 3200+. Both with 1GB RAM. I am not sure on the kernels/linux versions as I did not type the commands in. Personally, I don't know Linux too well. 😛

In regards to Dell not using the fast/hot videocards, my XPS will come with a 6800. I'll have to let y'all know how quiet/loud the system is. Their 8400 series dimensions also offer the 6x00 from nVIDIA as well as the X8x0 series from ATi.

At any rate, I really don't see where you can go wrong with any processor. No matter what you have running under the hood, as long as you're happy and satisified, that is all that matters! Both processors kick @$$ at beating the poop out of your OS, but each will have a slight advantage. I just wish my XPS rig will get here soon...this imac is killing me! 😛

ROFL at two things.

Firstly, your choice of anything other than the A64 for a "Gaming PC" is laughable.

Secondly, you should be shot for even considering the "Fatal1ty" board. 😛

🙂 I agree. - Strange.

There's been some "funny" posts on the forum lately. I mean I have noticed.

Maybe time to remind about that there's a new marketing thing going about. People are hired to "spread the word". On forums, on internet cafes...

I'm not saying that is the case now, but it doesn't hurt to keep in mind that the thing exists.
