man, the wife has really been pushing the issue. she really really wants a Toyota Sienna, recently we bought the Kia Sedona and it has been great, but all her friends are driving the Sienna so she wants one too.
my current car is a '98 Olds Intrigue with 170k miles on it and it is starting to show some wear and tear.
so basically looks like i'm going to be driving the Sedona and she'll get the Sienna.
now, the only question is, should i get her an '06 Sienna or wait for the '07's? the only real difference? the '06 has a 3.3 liter engine that puts out 215 HP, the '07 has a 3.5 liter that pumps out 268 hp.
oh ya, also is it worth the loss in gas mileage to get all wheel drive? frankly we don't get that much snow in the Philly area and FWD handles snow pretty well as long as you stay on the streets.
edit
oh ya, forgot to add, since i'll have a Kia and Toyota once i buy the sienna, this will be the first time ever (since my first car, Ford Pinto in 1981) that i haven't owned an American car.
