Well my i set the multiplier to 13x and i get the board to boot, but then windows wont load, and a message comes up that says windows protection error you must reboot your computer. How do i get windows to load with the adjusted multiplier settings? and when i bump the multipier setting back to a regular XP1600 then it boots fine.

Yep did you adjust your fsb too or just crank the multiplier? You might have turned it too high or something cause windows doesn't care about that stuff generally so that type of error is usually based on the chip not able to take it.

I have an alpha pal 8045 with the delta 68cfm fan so i dont think that cooling is an issue. I check my temps on boot up and it was running at 30c, but i am sure it would have climbed higher if i would have waited longer.

Well what multl + fsb combo are you going for, cause cooling or not the chip might just not be capable?

Well i had it running stable at 148mhz and but put the psb back to 133 to test the mult. setting. I have actually got the board to boot into windows with a 12x multiplier and am running at an XP1900 but was hoping to be able to hit the XP2000. I think that i may need the updated bios that support that speed. I have the 2nd revision and i think i may need the 3rd. Can anyone verify this?
