LARP is the lowest rung before you fall off the ladder.

I had a boss who did it all the time.. he would go out into the woods of PA and they would do it for a weekend.. they were huge productions, as he would tell us.

Also told us we would be doing it with him one day..

But then we went to college, and he still works in the mall.

I soooooooooo want to send Triumph the Insult Comic Dog to interview those people. It would be better than the Star Wars bit.

This is absolutely amazing......... wow...
As long as it makes them happy, I hope all goes well.
I'm pretty sure this is one of the lamest things you can possibly do.
Even entertaining the thought of participating in this makes you pathetic.

There was an interview on local TV with a guy who wanted to build a Battletech robot from stolen parts a few years ago.
He nearly succeeded, but the cops busted him a bit too early. At least LARP is lawful neutral (yay). There are some really funny real-life role players.

It is pretty funny, but I don't think it's all THAT bad. It's just big kids playing little kid games. If they like it then good for them!

Why are you guys making fun of people who put a lot of effort into something they like? Are they running through your house or disrupting life or something?
