These are instructions on how to get a deal on high ticket items, not hard drives or RAM.
1. You are not looking to buy, you just want to look.
2. The salesman's first offer is never his best offer.
3. The manager you first talk to is just some goon who is brought in to close you.
4. Don't talk financing or trade in until they talk price.
5. Get their best offer, then ask for a card with that price on it.
6. Don't be afraid to walk away. Its your money, not theirs.
7. Shop at least 2 other places and get prices. Yes they will get mad at you, but you will get the best deal.
8. Make them an offer. Just asking for a deal will get you no where.
9. If these things don't make sense, then just pay retail. Its a good deal....really!
