post what you guys think!

I'm game, I'll even predict the records and whos a wild card:
AFC East:
Colts 10-6
Bills 9-7 *
Pats 8-8
Fins 8-8
Jets 7-9

AFC Central
Ravens 12-4
Titans 10-6 *
Steelers 9-7
Jags 7-9
Bengals 4-12
Browns 4-12

AFC West
Broncos 11-5
Raiders 11-5 *
Cheifs 8-8
Seahawks 8-8
Chargers 3-13

NFC East
Eagles 11-5
Redskins 9-7
Giants 9-7
Cowboys 6-10
Cards 3-13

NFC Central
Bucs 12-4
Packers 11-5 *
Vikings 9-7 *
Lions 9-7
Bears 7-9

NFC West
Rams 13-3
Saints 10-6 *
49ers 8-8
Falcons 6-10
Panthers 4-12

And using this schedule, the first week of the playoffs will be

AFC Wildcard
Colts over Bills
Titans over Raiders

AFC Divisional
Ravens over Titans
Broncos over Colts

AFC Championship
Ravens over Broncos

NFC Playoffs

NFC Wildcard
Vikings over Eagles
Packers over Saints

NFC Divisional
Rams over Vikings
Packers over Bucs

NFC Championship
Rams over Packers

Super Bowl
Rams destroy Ravens

I am a Packer fan, and I KNOW that the Pack is gonna have a great season, they ended last season with a 4 game win streak the NFC Central, and the team returns with basically all their starters except Ross Verba, they added Jamal Reynolds, Robert Fergusen, and Torrance Marshall in the draft, they signed Jim Flannigan and Troy Drayton, and Ahman Green is the starting HB with Levens healthy too. The Pack is back. I fully expect a major Super Bowl push this year, and possibly a Super Bowl victory next year.

Hmm....well I seriously didn't mean to "thread crap." Was just joking around. I don't follow football very much so I figured I'd give the stereotypical dumbass answer. PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

So, my question to you, is what's with people judging people they don't know? AT is full of em lately.

are they better than 8-8?

no running game
no name defense

and they have the Rams and Saints in their division, and they will probably go 1-3 in their 4 games against those teams.

i havent been following them much this offseason, but, from what I recall, they've picked up some solid guys on D, and garcia to owens (unless I'm an idiot and one or both of them is/are gone?) is a nice combo.

9-7, *possibly* even 10-6

Bucs will be hampered by yet another tough ass NFC central schedule. There's not a snowball's chance in hell that they're gonna in at Lambeau.

The Saints will win the division again, and become the first team to win the Super Bowl in their own stadium. :Q :D

oh, and another "correction":

this one pains me, but the redskins will not go 9-7; they'll be lucky to hit 8-8. while I like the way they've gone about rebuilding, it is still that-rebuilding. they have a solid running game, and some potential on D, but they are going to run into HUGE problems with the passing game, especially when jeff george starts slinging the ball downfield while schottenhiemer wants a short passing game. George is not a short passing game QB, but he's all we've got...the offense will likely struggle.

here's their schedule, and my guess at the outcomes:

SEP. 9 at San Diego 4:15 (win)
SEP. 16 ARIZONA 1:00 (win)
SEP. 24 at Green Bay 9:00 (lose)
SEP. 30 KANSAS CITY 1:00 (iffy)
OCT. 7 at New York Giants 1:00 (lose)
OCT. 15 at Dallas 9:00 (win)
OCT. 21 CAROLINA 1:00 (win)
OCT. 28 NEW YORK GIANTS 8:30 (lose)
NOV. 4 SEATTLE 4:15 (lose)
NOV. 11 Bye
NOV. 18 at Denver 4:15 (lose)
NOV. 25 at Philadelphia 1:00 (lose)
DEC. 2 DALLAS 4:15 (win)
DEC. 9 at Arizona 4:05 (win)
DEC. 16 PHILADELPHIA 1:00 (lose)
DEC. 23 CHICAGO 1:00 (win)
DEC. 30 at New Orleans 8:30 (lose)

I have them at 7-8, with the game against the chiefs as iffy b/c of schottenheimer. Also, notice that I'm allowing for 4 wins against arizona and dallas-realistically, those 4 probably wont happen, since the 'skins have a (recent) tendecy of letting those two teams act as spoilers.

Dont get me wrong-I'd love to see the skins go 9-7 or better, and I do think it will be interesting to see what marty can do with the team. but it will likely be 2 years before the team is seriously back in contention.

I bet the Skins take care of the Giants in that night game. I bet Chicago will be a tough nut to crack though.

You wish. It's gonna be a repeat victory from Balto this year.

Sorry, I just don't see the Rams destroying the #1 Defense, and now a pretty potent offense to go with it.

Dallas 6-10? I'm a diehard Cowboy fan and I know that's a pipe dream. Let's try 4-12. Emmitt can't shoulder the offense on his own, since we all know Tony Banks is an interception machine.

The Ravens aren't good, they're lucky. Of course luck still counts if you win the game.

They've still got their full defense (including Killer), so they'll be a close second to the Titans.

<< and they have the Rams and Saints in their division >>

Two teams that are vadstly over rated. They both thrived in a deluted Division while the niners were rebuilding. While the Niners aren't there yet they are a match for the Aints and the defenseless Lambs.

I'm not all that convinced that the Ravens defense is as great as people say. I truly believe that the level of play in the NFL for the last 3 yearts was at an all time low (mainly due to suck ass quaterbacks)Their offense is nothing to write home about and an injury to their Felonious linebacker could regulate them to a 500 team. I think their greatness was just the NFL trying to hype up a rather pathetic era in the league. The Great defenses of the 80's, i.e. the Bears, Niners and the Giants were better than the Ravens defence of last year

I miss the days before free agency, the salary cap, and dynasties. Someone please make them come back!

Keep on dreamin'. The Saints and *gag* Rams are no flukes in an easy division. While neither team was as good as the best in the NFL last year (though the Rams O was best in the NFL by far), both made some solid off-season acquisitions that could make either one of them contenders this year.

The other NFC West teams will be lucky to win a game with the Rams and Saints in their division, and it's the last shot at them the niners are going to get!

But my season will be complete if the Saints sweep the Rams! :)

my poor poor Panthers, everyone seems to want to beat up on them. Well my gut feeling is they will surprise everyone this year, hopefully with a better than 4-12 record. I'm predicting 8-8 and possibility of wildcard.
If all them new rookies pan out and nobody gets killed in training camp, we might have a chance...however slim.
GO PANTHERS!

Yeah they are. Come on, these are the Aints we are taliking about. Get your head out of the Clouds. New Orleans always sucked, the suck now and they always will suck. Stock up on Paper Bags.

The Rams and the Aints aren't overrated. You talk as if the 49ers are some kind of team of destiny that is always supposed to be godly, except for a few years when the 49ers rebuild. That's bull. The 49ers are back to being Joe Schmoe chumps now. Call it "rebuilding" if you will, but they're gonna be a doormat for the Rams for many years to come.

Actually Aaron, you couldn't be more wrong. The teams in the NFC West will be changing their name to (I think) NFC South, getting rid of the dead weight, and picking up the Bucs. This happens next year, right?
