One of the best 5th sets I've watched and possibly one of the best comebacks I've ever seen. That was an absolutely awesome match.
 
These night matches the past few nights have been awesome. Great energy in tonight's matfh. And these two were just really zoned in.
 
Damn, that was fine tennis.

And I know what Andre's real secret weapon is...he trains with the best tennis player in the world...his wife!
 
man that was an amazing match. i was rooting for both guys, and it was sad because I knew someone had to win. i'm glad it was agassi though, I hope he can close out his career winning the US Open. I know Blake will be back, so I'm not so worried about him, he has so much potential.

Whew!!! I'm friggin' exhausted!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm building a PC as I watched this tonite. I heard them say they were cuttin' feed for east coast, and I was like......."WTF?"

Thankfully, livin' on the West Coast has its TV privileges this once!! 😀

I was torn..........I love both those guys. I honestly don't know if I could even have tilted 1% in favor of either. I wouldn't want to see Agassi call it quits after he lost, but I just kept askin' myself this one quesiton.........

"Who do I want playin' Federer in the final??"

I just couldn't answer that question, so it was just a matter of watchin' these 2 warriors play it out.............WHAT A FVCKING MATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah USA cut it for the east coasters around 12:45, but CBS picked it up, and I just had to finish watching the match with crappier announcers (who just spent most of the time verbally polishing Agassi's wang).

Sure felt like a final didn't it? The fans were going absolutely nuts by the end of the 4th set when Agassi evened it at two sets apiece. The whole place was just electric, and all this at 1am.

It's a shame Andy never even made it past the first round, but we've still had some awesome awesome tennis the past few days and we'll still have someone representing the US in the men's final.

yeah, except Federer is gonna DESTROY whoever he plays. He woulda bageled ol' James, and he might Andre. They are not on his level. Not even close.

We shall see...Fed's gotta get there first...and he's playing David Nalbandian next...who has a 5-2 career edge over Roger....though Roger did win the last 2 rather convincingly. Go Nalbandian! YOU CAN DO IT!
 
Any backlash being heard from people who got screwed and didn't get to see the rest of the match? I was hoping the TV networks would be overfilled with complaints today. One of the best Tennis matches in a looooong time and us West coasters didn't get to see it.
