Ok, I've gotten bored. My custom CPU cooler, then box.

I'm creating a really unique computer, and thought this would be fun to share. This is my CPU cooler, it "sprouts" out from my case. The heatsink is in two pieces, with a vertical radiator stemming from a heat pipe.

CPU fan 1.
CPU fan 2.

Here's the cpu and heatsink shot, complete with dragonfly on the heat sink. The rest is still under heavy construction and isn't very picture worthy, yet. But there's a ton of flowers and some bugs, along with a custom led light show and logic controller.

The rest of the box is a garden theme.

I've clearly got too much time on my hands.

Not sure how to describe it... but lets just say its... Unique!

How does this attach to the HSF? Or... is the HSF?

I really don't see the concept!

Thanks.

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product, definitely post pics when it's finished :) The fusion of art and technology=cyberart? is one of the more fascinating directions DIY'ers are going and the metaphores will be solid. For instance, instead of upgrading your system you will make your garden grow, and instead of water and fertilizer to make your garden grow faster you'll use voltage and mhz, and if the heatsink fan design isn't adequate cooling you can "irrigate" it :p.

I was laughing before I got to the last line...then I about peed on myself! Hahahahaha! Drugs ARE bad, M'mmkay? ;)

AFA the "design" goes...it's.....um, DIFFERENT. But all I see is a de-framed fan on a flexible stick mount...How will this cool the CPU?

:D though I was being quasi-facicious I really am interested in seeing the finished product and if the function can match the form will be duely impressed  he mentioned he will be using a vertical radiator stemming from a heat pipe which the "flower fan" will blow on to aid in cooling. I think it's bizarre but I'm also intrigued by his ingenuity and vision, as whacked though most may find it :Q:D

I know it's wacky, I'm ok with it. :)

Hey, now that's pretty cool! I like how you've got the silver theme going on. Silver mobo, silver HS, sliver fan, silver dragon fly. :) Very nice. Good luck; I'm interested in seeing the final product.
