forgive me for my stupidity about cars... but would someone care to explain what's wrong with an H2?

didn't see the video huh?
well I'm not an H2 fan but I have been 4x4'n almost all my life, when IFS started hitting the trail what you saw in that video was FAR from anything new

You don't see people doing IFS swaps in 4x4 monsters, they are doing Live axel swaps.. if Evadman is still in here he can give some good backup to the case.

They look a little different. And they're bigger. People always poke fun and things that are bigger and differerent. Especially if they can't afford them. 😉

So if someone posts some news article, is he/she a ex-AOL'er ?
But you are not even close to relaying it correctly. That is my point. And as for calling you an AOL'er, that is what I call all dumb computer people.

After all, I heard on TV that AOL makes you dumb.

They are nice inside and so are the h1. Both ride good but the H1 rides better.

it's a travesty even putting both in the same sentence. the H2 is NOTHING like the H1. the H1 is ACTUALLY a practical vehicle off road.

Evadman, can I get your permission to post this article about the 100,000 write off ?

Under the tax plan, small business owners can immediately deduct as much as $100,000, up from $25,000, for qualified purchases that can include new or used equipment, computers and furniture. Another qualifying purchase is a vehicle for the business that has a 6,000-pound gross vehicle weight, which includes the increasingly controversial sport utility vehicles, 4x4s and Hummers. Purchases of new equipment and vehicles also can qualify for bonus depreciation of 50 percent.

"You can combine these two strategies for a huge write off," according to Diane Kennedy, best-selling author and head of Phoenix accounting firm D. Kennedy & Associates. She shows that a business owner purchasing a $110,000 Hummer for the company's use can immediately write off $106,000. (That's $100,000 for the immediate write-off under Section 179 of the tax code, plus $5,000 in bonus depreciation, plus $1,000 of regular depreciation.)

Why does the american car buyer continue to buy JUNK??

WHO would want this thing? What appeal does this vehicle have for ANYONE?

Some people think their taste in everything is universal but they have to realize that other people like and want different kinds of cars.

Most people that knock it can't afford it.

the implied argument is fairly smart. it's the proletariat rallying against conspicuous consumption. You see this everyday with the hordes of jealous poor people posting threads about how much the Murcielago sucks.

but if that was the ONLY motivating factor, wouldn't i be railing against MORE expensive cars?

I love the H1. I love most Ferraris, Maseraties etc.

It's the H2 in PARTICULAR that i don't like.

err. yes. it's called sarcasm. I haven't seen anyone complain about the hugely expensive murcielago. (at least not in the way that everyone berates H2's)
