Ok I need to know how old I am here. . . Epic Poll inside - be honest

Had to google the date of the Challenger explosion. I was sure I hadn't heard about it when it happened, but I didn't know if it was because I was too young to remember or not born yet.

You're a young'un. I was a senior in HS. Think they canceled class early because there were people who had parents working at the Pentagon.
 
I was in 3rd grade. actually I was sick in my house when it happened. I remember my mom screeming from another room "the twin towers were hit with an airplane!" I was in them before, but I didnt know what actually happened.

Same here. It happened during 2nd and 3rd period, and my dad (whose fine) was in NY that day for business :Q

Maybe another one for the polls: Do you remember the Gulf War? (the first one, not the Iraq War)

I vaguely remember watching the news coverage on TV. Course, back then I had no sense of geography -- one night someone was settings off some fireworks and I remember thinking it was Saddam Hussein firing SCUDs at us 😱...

I was in 6th grade when our local reserves got called up. Our little town made a big deal about putting on a parade when they shipped out. I had an American flag shaved into the back of my head!

I went around interviewing kids at the middle school and typed up an article for the local paper.
