8-5 is OK.
I used to do 6-2 which was weird at first and eventually pretty nice. Had the whole afternoon to shop, hang out at Hooters (Beaverton), and play video games like a maniac.
Nice!
My better hours will mean a bit less money 🙁
To be honest that was my first thought as well: "bankers hours just shifted by a couple hours". Might wanna update the OP with the overtime hours you work. 🙂Correct
But I've been going in at 8:30 and then working 8:30-2:00 on Tuesdays.

I'm on salary, and I've been given opportunities to move to a M-F or M-Th "normal" daytime schedule multiple times. Rejected it each time.
I currently work three ~13 hour shifts and get four days off. It's a mini vacation every single week of the year. And I'll keep this schedule as long as I possibly can.
meh, I work 11:30 - 21:30
screw traffic and "normal" hours then again normal weekends should be nice, I'm off Fri - Sun
