she's damn hot, as near to smoking as i've seen in awhile, (sorry no pics), and i see her tonight for the 2nd time (friends with the guys downstairs from me), and it turns out she's 17 and still in high school 🙁 so what the hell has she been doing hanging out on the porch and drinking with us!?!?!? and it doesn't help she appears interested and flirts with me the whole time we're talking 🙁


oh yeah, i'm 22, which is why this is such a problem, and here i thought i met someone who was **of age, and cute and smart, oh well 🙁
 
Just do it. This isn't moral court! No matter what you do in life someone is going to complain. You might as well do what you want (within reason...no random killings or anything like that 😉) and be happy while people are bitching.
 
Hmm, 17. I'm tempted to say that close enough is good enough. Ultimately its up to you. I'm about to turn 20 and I don't think dating a 17 yo is terrible, given the right situation. She obviously is more mature then 17, so I say why not.

Dude, that's gross. Even if it did work out and her daddy didn't get you thrown in jail, what would you do? Pick her up from school in the afternoon and take her to prom?
 
dude, it's only jail time if you do anything sexual with her. Even then, the age of consent varies from state to state. If she is illegal there, you could befriend her and wait till she's 18 to do the deed 🙂. Seriously, if she's that cool, and you think the sh;t you'll get from your friends is worth it, who cares. In a year or two, the difference wont be that big of a deal.
 
If you really like her, you are allowed to date her; you just can't have sex with her. (Depending, of course, upon the legal age of consent in your state/country.) However, when I was 22, I really didn't see much in 17 year old girls anyway; too immature and materialistic.

Holy sh!t dude, "wait," "year or two," and "sexual" should NEVER be heard together when a guy is talking about a woman!

No really, you can't find someone you like who is not 17? I have a friend who did this, and trust me, it is NOT worth it.

tough I know, but if age of consent wherever this guy is, is 17 or under, then he's fine, which is the point I tried to make from the get go.

It's not just that. She's 17. That means all of her friends are 17. That means either that the guy will have to hang out with not one but several 17 year-old girls or that he will not be able to hang out with her at all since she'll want to spend time with her friends.

Presumably she seems older than 17? Socially...physically, mentally? If so, then maybe it's not TOO much of a problem. As long as she turns 18 before you turn 23 😛

Do what I did. Befriend her and keep her around until she is 18. Then when that happens, free for all. Mine just might stick around for quite some time longer though.

I know a really hot looking girl that would NEVER look like her real age.. she's 17 looks like she's at least 20.. her boyfriend openly admits he's 26. how screwed up is that?!?! this is for real.. just found this out on monday night. i was kinda shocked, tried not to laugh in their faces. the girl is a real cutie though, but so young! :Q
