It's nice to see that he's ok. A friend of mine hung herself Friday :(. It's too bad she didn't reach out for help. She's the second person in two weeks that has committed suicide in our town. I hope this isn't a trend. Suicide is a cowardly thing to do. I'm pretty bummed about her, she was a fine woman and her husband is a wonderful guy. This s*cks :( .

<< Suicide is a cowardly thing to do. >>

easy thing for you to say. it has obviously never entered your mind, or you would understand a little better what torments people to this point.

Now read the thread. People are attacking him now. Stupid as hell. He was crying out for help...not looking for attention.

A couple of posters are attacking each other. But I really didn't see any posts attacking fourcam.

There's always going to be one complete moron:

<< Quit your crying and squeeze the trigger you pathetic piece of sh!t. I suppose we should all chip in and buy you some therapy, right? Those lacking the mental capacity to deal with basic human experience SHOULD kill themselves. At least he recognized THAT. Let's not encourage them to stay. >>

WHY would someone post something like this? Are they so bad off themselves that this is the only way they can feel better? I don't get it.

It is difficult to understand this sort of cruelty. We have a couple of similar bad apples on this board, too. I used to assume that some folks just have a lack of sensitivity to the feelings of others, but repeated observations have led me to believe that such people may know exactly what they are doing, and derive some sort of sick thrill from the temporary dominance they gain over others by making vile, sarcastic remarks.

Such people are probably their own punishment. We only have to endure a few words from them, thereby losing several seconds of time reading their crap. But these people are stuck with themselves 24 hours a day. No matter where they go, there they are.

So far we have no real word about Fourcam. He was taken to the hospital. He was released. Nothing other than that. I am pretty sure he is ok. I think he had alcohol poisoning. We know he had been drinking. The hospital would not tell us much, because we were not immediate family. I am just glad the mustang family pulled together like this.

Except for 2KGT everybody was very concerned and caring. People like him are so miserable that they can't live with themselves. They have to spread their misery to someone else. They are cruel and demented.

I replied to 2KGT like this:

<< 2KGT- You must be the most selfish person alive. This thread is about Andy, not about YOU. I realize you are looking for help as well. Please do not interfere with this thread. Whether you have a visible point or not, you are looking like a real bastard.

Andy- Hope things are getting better. :)

Warlord- You're right, suicide has never entered my mind. My life, as well as everyones is valuable. One ought to seek help for their problems not run from them. Suicide is the "easy" way out. A person that thinks suicide is the only possible solution should also consider the pain and heartache that their family will endure. There have been two suiucides in recent weeks in my town and I'm truly saddened by them. Knowing both and seeing the last person that did this on a daily basis is a difficult thing. My only wish is that they would of reached out for help, rather then doing the "cowardly act". Suicide F* s*cks. :( :(

I agree that life is valuable, and that one should seek help, but for someone who is depressed it just isn't that easy. I don't expect you to understand what is going through the persons head (no offense intended), its not exactly logical and its definately not rational.

the thing a lot of people just don't see is when these people have asked for help. fourcams thread was his cry for help, no he didn't ask for it directly, but he said enough that people became concerned, they helped. depressed people often cry out in their own way to their family, but their family has seen the transition from normal to depressed, and thus the crys were to subtle to be noticed. where as an outsider could have looked at the situation and said "somebody needs to do something cause that dude is going to kill himself."
