ok. i finally got a MP3 player. i hate the ear buds. they hurt my ears..

waggy

No Lifer
i have a sandisk 2 gig mp3 player. it came with some ear buds. I HATE THEM. they hurt my ears. which is odd because i wear hearing aids that go in the ear.

soo any good over the ear ones that are cheap? or someone have a set with the left ear blown out LOL

i like how the in the ear are loud. just wish they didn't hurt and fall out all the time.

i am a newb on such stuff so keep that in mind LOL.

If you are willing to spend some money (I know you said cheap, but they are worth it) look into a pair of Shure e2c's. They are in-canal buds that conform to the shape of your ear canal. They include many different ear pieces so you can find one that fits your ear perfectly. The sound quality is much higher than the buds that come with mp3 players, and they wont fall out of your ears during activities.

Otherwise pick up a set of over the ear headphones. They are much bulkier and the price increases as the quality does.

Something like that will be much more comfortable than buds, around $50. It's not likely to match the comfort of your aids however. To do that you would want them custom molded, but the only canal phone company I know that does this is Ultimate Ears, not for $20 though 🙂

Your existing hearing aid would have worked out the best between all these options. It's pretty pathetic that most don't come standard with auxiliary input.
