I'm planning to update my dad's office with 6 new computers. I need to know if I really need 6 copies of XP and Office. If so, any recommendations on where to buy it?

Thx

One license per computer at 6 computers a piece... /me counts on his fingers a bit.... Yeah, 6 should do fine.

See if your Dad's company may need more in the near future as you would get a significant discount on 10 or more licenses I believe.

Yea, through Microsoft's Open Volume License Program. If your Dad's company is a non-profit, government, education, etc. institution, you might be able to get a discount. :)

I am not sure how business licenses work, but I remember reading somewhere that personal users are allowed to install a copy of office on 1 desktop computer and 1 mobile (laptop) computer.
