moshquerade

No Lifer
yeh.... somebody hurled in my vehicle last night - lucky me -
i got all the chunks cleaned out, and gave it a good once over with soap and warm water, but the smell persists. i tried spraying some Febreze on the seat, but now it just smells like pukefebreze. 😕

and yeh, i am not too happy with the person that blew their :cookie: s in there :|

damn, cloth seats, thats gonna be tough...

buy some lemon juice and white distilled vinegar and soak it down, but make sure you are at the car wash vacuum to suck it up quickly.

the seats are dark gray. i am afraid the lemon juice will lighten the area it is applied to.

They make a chemical "odor out" that really works.
It is for animal odors, smoke, etc.
And it works! Try it.
It is non-staining and will remove that odor.

$100 bucks at the detailer will make it shine both inside and out.
It'll probably give it a new car smell.
Make whoever puked in your car pay for it

Test it in an unnoticeable area first. you may find area's in the trunk where the backside of the seats are visible.

thats what my roomate did when a similar disaster happened in his celica

You could get the seat shampooed. I don't know how much it costs, though...

I would wash the seat with soapy water and let it dry. Then I would make a paste of baking soda and water... rub it in well and after it dries, just vacuum it. There are really good products on the market that remove pet pee from carpets... you can find that in a pet store... it will work woders on vomit odors, too.

🙂

not a bad idea, but it was a friend and i'm not gonna ask her for $100.
she is "paying for it" today 😛

Get a steam cleaner. I'm referring to one of those Steam Shark cleaners and not a carpet steam vaccum cleaner. The steam will help sterilize the area and get rid of the odour in no time.

well if they was drunk.. it was half your fault of letting hiim drive with you. Call a cab! If he was sick.. than ;]..................... call a cab ;x
