they only real hard part about it is setting up the graphics. u just need to go into the add draw thing and find the image to add

all the meters are pre written for the most part

its just changing the option around in the menu part on the left side to make it do what u want or how it will apear. i just played around with it one afternoon and kinda go used to it.

their website has scripts for a lot of neat stuff to. and if a script has a writefile, u need to do that first.

they are two seperate ones. i didn't change the top script much, except that i added the weather block to the right and changed the drives that it reported. you're gonna need motherboard monitor running on your comp if you want the stats to show. the script on the bottom is based one i downloaded and modified from samurize. it has clickable headlines that take you to the specific article as well as report the weather. although the temo works fine, for some reason it always seems to be "cloudy". hmmmmmmmm

edit: i changed the bottom script somewhat from the screenshot. i modified my theme and changed the font to better reflect the new style.

Could i get a copy of that PNG?.....

I actually haven't gotten that to work yet. It's not a big problem here as it has rained for the past week, and is forecast to rain for the next week too

to get the icons to change for the script i use now, i had to add a thing to Task Scheduler for windows, the script reloads samurize and updates the icons every hour. that is the only way i know how to do it.

Yeah, I set that up, but the stupid thing still doesn't work right. I can get it to update the weather every once in a while if I manually do it, but nothing changes the pngs...

the script takes the png and copys it to a png named like tmp<something>.png so this icons changes all the time. it is based on the data from the website. so in the config u need to add this temp png that is always changing when the script updates from the website. thus when it changes and reloads the config the png images changes along with it.

ahhh... right on. I hadn't set that yet. It should work for me now

no its not really hard, well maybe if you wrote the script yourself.

all i did was d/l a script that was already programed. and just took elements from it and added into my config.

i didnt do anything. all i did was add the file to the task scheduler. and bang it worked.



just in case your wonering i am using WeatherPLUS .53 (its the update to .5) and all i did was set it up. u can get it from the samurize website. just use their scripts and u got your self a nice weather program once u add the stuff into your config.

follow the readme and you should be fine.
