How can you price match to a place other than an office superstore for the Canon S100?

Also, it says at the bottom that the offer cannot be used with other coupon codes, so if you are to get the 48MB compact flash card with it, you can't use another coupon code to lower the final price.

Know what I mean?

WOW on the phone w/CSR right now at Staples...

Pricematched to BuyDig.com ($453.95) including shipping, since Staples insists you include their overnight shipping charges. Then take $40 off that via coupon code, and use second coupon code to get the 48MB Sandisk card for free (or nearly so, because you still have to pay for tax).

Canon S100 Elph Digital Camera = $499.98
Sandisk 48MB CF Card = $119.97

Pricematch with Buydig.com ($453.95) = -$46.03
Coupon $40 off $200 = -$40.00
Coupon FREE Sandisk 48MB (excl. s/h) = -$119.97

Subtotal: $413.95
Tax (CA @ 7.75%): $ 32.08

Total: $446.03

Not bad, but I wish Staples didn't insist on charging for next day air shipping. 🙁

Attention stop thread crapping everyone doesn't have time to browse sites and find ways to get good deals. I don't see you doing anything besides being an ass.

Sayy..does Staples have any good deals on really high quality chairs? Usually chairs that retail around $100 arent wonderful for extended periods of time...although I can't say that I've purchased every $100 chair and sat in them for extended periods of time..🙂

Just go to Staples, which I have link above, and go to furnitures, then chairs and find a good chair over $150 you can take $40 of $200..or get $150 chair then buy some other stuff, like lamps, phones, and office supplies. They got some expensive chair, but man, I am sitting on a freaking HermanMore AERO CHAIR right now at work!! these are $800 chairs!!!!

I also found the Koda paper buy2 get one free pretty good deal too..the glossy photo paper for all your digital prints!😉

I just got a pricematch bonus!

I got the Canon s100 for $425.52 with the 48mb card included!

I pricematched buydig.com for $414 +$20s/h(That is what she came up with...I'm not complaining!)
Added the compact flash
took off $40 from $200
took off the compact flash

add NYS Sales Tax(Money grubbin government fees!)
Voila!

$425.52 Shipped!

I love bargains!

wow this aint my day~! Called once again and same thing happend. WHO did YOU GUYS SPEAK TOO...... they wont give me the mem card for free cause there saying that the total purchase has to exceed 499 ~! blah blah blah

The CSR's name was Jolene. She was very pleasant, never put up an argument, and saved me on shipping! It was great! She sounded young, so she may have been new. Camera gets delivered tomorrow! Can't wait! Thanks ETLA for the thread that pushed me this direction!

someone Read Ipaq rebate terms & conditions and see what you think: it says "reciept or packing slip for purchases direct from compaq , just making sure the rebate is good for all purchases!

I am not really sure how I was able to use the coupon. Here is the exact order that I placed my order in:
1. Ask if Canon s100 is in stock, gave part number and my zip.
2. She said it was in stock, so I said I would take one.
3. Said I wanted to pricematch to buydig.com ($414)
4. She asked how much for shipping after I had her punch up the website.
I said I dunno! She put me on hold and came back with a price of $20 for shipping. (I am not sure how she got that, their lowest cost was $24.95)
5. I then added the CFcard
6. I informed her that I had two codes to use. First I gave the $40 off, then the falsh card coupon...no problem

To ensure that I had this deal, I had her email me a confirmation. I am one happy bargain hunter!

You need to head over to another site where Staples promotions are listed such as techbargains.*** or gotapexdotcom, etc. You will find multiple Staples money saving opportunities!

I have seen more reports of people being successful with using the $40 off coupon. You just have to call and be persistent untill you get a nice CSR. If you call overnight, you probably have a better chance due to it being a newbie or "Green" shift. Mileage may vary. Good luck, and good hunting!

I took a copy of the pricegrabber page to a Staples store. They matched the price at $398.00 added $5.00 for shipping. I also took a copy of the page on staples.com that showed the free memory card, so they gave that to me. $398.00 + $5.00 = $403.00 plus tax. Cannon S100 + 48 meg CF, pretty good deal. This camera is tiny, but takes very good pics.
